Voltage
The device voltage needs checking
The supply voltage differs substantially (230 V → 120 V). Devices marked “INPUT 100–240 V” normally need only a plug adapter. Single-voltage devices may be unsuitable or may require a correctly rated converter.
Frequency
Check the device frequency
The mains frequency changes from 50 Hz to 60 Hz. This is usually fine for modern chargers, but it can affect motors, clocks and some household appliances.
